Are You Looking for a Space to Exhibit Your Art?
Join us for a miniature and small works show open to all New Mexico artists in all media,
including but not limited to pastels, oil, water media, acrylic, mixed media, pencil drawings, mosaic, photography, glass, and sculpture.
Size Requirements:
Small Works: Maximum size of small works: 154 square inches including frame
Miniatures: Maximum size of miniature works: 56 square inches including frame
(Depicting images 1/6 + actual size)
Important Dates:
APRIL 29, Tuesday, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm Delivery of work to The Gallery ABQ
LIMIT 3 PIECES per Artist (FIRST COME, FIRST ACCEPTED UP TO SALON CAPACITY)
Pieces will be juried upon receipt. The Gallery ABQ reserves the right to refuse any piece at its sole discretion. All wall art must be ready to hang with D-rings or eyelet hooks and wire—no sawtooth hooks will be accepted.
May 1 - May 28th - Exhibition Tuesday through Saturday 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
MAY 2, Friday - Artist’s Reception 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
May 28, Wednesday - Pick up unsold pieces between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm
Entry Fee:
$15.00 per piece or $35.00 for three pieces. Cash or Credit Card ($3.00 processing fee for credit card).
Artists will be responsible for completing an entry form identifying each piece and item tags for each piece. Prices submitted on the entry form and tag are final and NOT subject to change.
The Gallery ABQ will collect 25% commission on sales. The Gallery ABQ will process all sales, including credit card processing fees. The Gallery ABQ will collect and pay applicable gross receipts taxes.
Items sold must be taken when purchased unless sold on The Gallery ABQ’s layaway program . Unsold pieces must remain at The Gallery ABQ until the pickup date indicated above.
Artists will receive net sales proceeds via check which will be mailed to their indicated address within the first two weeks of the following month.
Liability:
The Gallery ABQ does not insure the artwork. The Gallery ABQ and its representatives are not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to any artwork submitted. The Gallery ABQ has an alarm system and exercises reasonable and standard precautions to protect the artwork.
The Gallery ABQ in Hoffmantown is an artist-owned gallery of fine artists and craftspersons from New Mexico. With twenty member artists, we offer a wide variety of mediums, subjects and styles in a welcoming creative space. We embrace creativity and innovation, allowing each member artist to express their individual point of view while maintaining the highest standards.
New artists are juried in at our monthly general meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month.
